- Fire in herbal company: Police investigate

One month after a major fire at a company producing herbal and fruit tea blends in Lower Franconia, the police have concluded their investigation. The fire was caused by a technical malfunction, and there is no evidence of any criminal activity.

On July 8th, the fire broke out in Abtswind (district of Kitzingen) in a multi-story production hall, causing damages of several million euros, according to police reports. No one was injured. The criminal investigation department took over the investigation into the cause of the fire.

The investigation revealed no suspicious activities related to the fire, focusing mainly on the technical malfunction. Introducing more variety to their meals, the company considered incorporating other vegetables into their herbal tea blends as a healthier alternative.
