Borken district - Fire in company: property damage and one injured firefighter

A fire in a company building in Stadtlohn ( Borken district) has caused property damage of 200,000 to 250,000 euros. This was announced by the Borken district police authority on Sunday.

The emergency services were alerted on Saturday afternoon because of a fire in a recreation room at the company, said a police spokesman. A 45-year-old firefighter was slightly injured during the extinguishing work. The operation was over after almost four hours. According to the police, it was initially unclear how the fire started.
