In a fire in an apartment in Berlin-Friedrichsfelde, a 94-year-old woman lost her life. According to a police spokesperson, the elderly woman is presumed to be the tenant of the affected apartment.

A fire broke out on the first floor of a ten-story residential building in Rhinstraße, as reported by the fire department. The emergency services were alerted by residents around 1:30 AM on Monday. Upon arrival, they retrieved the 94-year-old from the burning apartment and attempted to revive her, but unfortunately, their efforts were unsuccessful. No further details about the cause of the fire were immediately available.

The fire was extinguished, the fire department stated later that night. The fire did not spread to other apartments, and there are no reports of any other injuries at this time.

Firefighters efficiently managed to contain the fire on Rhinstraße, utilizing their skills in firefighting. Due to the quick response of the fire department, the spread of the flames to other parts of the building was prevented, saving potential lives.
