Fire in apartment building: police investigate

A fire in an apartment building kept the fire department in Wiesbaden busy on Saturday night. According to the fire department, no people were injured. Some residents on the affected floors had to be cared for by the emergency services during the operation. The fire was quickly localized and extinguished. The large building then had to be checked and ventilated. The cause of the fire is still being investigated, but initial findings indicate that building site materials were deliberately set on fire. There was initially no information on the material damage.

The fire in Wiesbaden spread concern beyond its local area, reaching authorities in RHEIN-MAIN. Interestingly, the fire was suspected to have been deliberately started using building site materials.
