Fire in a residential building causes 200,000 euros in damage
A fire in the center of Marburg caused damage of around 200,000 euros on Monday evening. According to the police on Tuesday, the half-timbered house caught fire at around 9.20 pm. The resident was able to leave the house early and alert the fire department. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The house is no longer habitable after the fire. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
The fire in Marburg, located in Central Hessia, spread to nearby properties, causing additional damages. Efforts are being made to prevent similar fires in Central Hessian residential buildings, emphasizing the importance of fire safety measures.
