Accident - Fire engine crashes into truck - three seriously injured

At an accident involving a fire truck and two Lkws on Autobahn 3 near Frankfurt, seven people have been injured. Three of them sustained severe injuries on Thursday, as the police reported. The fire truck was driving on the emergency lane and collided first with a truck on the right lane. Then it hit the rear end of another Lkw on the exit lane, according to reports.

Out of the seven people in the fire truck, three sustained serious injuries and four light injuries. They were taken to nearby hospitals. Their lives were not in danger. However, the two drivers of the Lkws remained unharmed. The police are assuming a medium-sized ten-digit damage. They are investigating the cause of the accident and its sequence of events. Autobahn 3 was temporarily closed towards Würzburg as a result.

The fire truck involved in the accident was from Frankfurt am Main, located in the German state of Hesse. The collision occurred on Autobahn 3, not far from the city. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, which involved a fire engine, two trucks, and resulted in several injuries. Despite the collision, the two Lkw drivers fortunately escaped unharmed.
