Fires - Fire destroys roof truss of detached house in Schalksmühle
A fire in the roof truss made a detached house in Schalksmühle (Märkischer Kreis) uninhabitable on Friday night. No one was injured, according to the Schalksmühle volunteer fire department. The cause of the fire was initially unknown. When the fire department arrived, the roof truss was already fully engulfed in flames. There were no people in the house. The firefighters quickly brought the fire under control. A turntable ladder was also used.
