County of Rosenheim - Fire destroys large parts of agricultural property

A agricultural building near Bruckmühl in Upper Bavaria was almost completely destroyed by a fire. The fire department prevented the flames from spreading to a nearby residential building, as they reported on Wednesday evening. No one was injured, according to current knowledge. The animals were reportedly able to be taken out of the stable in time.

The damage is said to be great: It is estimated to be in the six-figure range. The fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon. The cause is still unclear and is now being investigated by the criminal police.

Statement

The agricultural building was located in the County of Rosenheim, within the larger region of Bavaria. The fire department's swift intervention helped save a potential catastrophe, as the flames could have easily spread to another structure. Agriculture in the area might face temporary setbacks due to the fires.
