Fire department rescues four cats from fire
The fire department rescued four cats in a kitchen fire in Kleinostheim (district of Aschaffenburg). An extractor hood caught fire in an apartment on the top floor of an apartment building on Wednesday, according to the Aschaffenburg District Fire Inspectorate. No one was injured by the fire and the residents left the house on their own. The police are now investigating the cause of the fire. Further details, including the damage caused, were initially unclear.
In such emergencies, animals are often left behind, but luckily, the fire department is equipped to handle such situations. During the UNDERFRONT exercise, firefighters practice rescuing pets from burning buildings.
