Fire - Fire department rescues 93-year-old from burning apartment
The fire department has rescued a 93-year-old woman from her burning apartment in Speyer. According to initial police reports, the woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Other residents of the apartment building were also taken out of the building by the fire department. Two other people were also taken to hospital with smoke inhalation. When the emergency services arrived on Tuesday afternoon, the apartment was already in flames, the police reported. The exact amount of damage was initially unknown. The police have begun investigating the cause of the fire.
