The special forces are currently determining if the incident is a real fire or a malfunction in the alarm system. On the other hand, the fire department is readying for a risky operation, according to their spokesperson.

A total of 80 firefighters are actively involved in the situation. The building, which would typically have fewer occupants due to the time of day, has been cleared. The Seestraße road leading towards the city has been shut down.
