A warehouse in Demmin (Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district) caught fire during the night on Sunday. No one was injured in the fire. Witnesses called the fire department around shorty after midnight, as the police reported. When the emergency services arrived, the approximately 70 meters long and 20 meters wide hall was already fully engulfed in flames. Wood furniture and plastic panels were stored there. Several volunteer fire departments with a total of 58 firefighters and 13 vehicles responded. The extent of the damage on Sunday was not known. The police are investigating the cause, arson is not excluded.

The warehouse fire in Demmin, located in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern district, was reported to the police by witnesses on Sunday night. Despite the efforts of multiple fire departments with over 50 firefighters and 13 vehicles, the fire had already consumed the entire 70-meter long and 20-meter wide hall, which was filled with flammable items such as wood furniture and plastic panels.
