A fire involving a hybrid car in Aschaffenburg caused approximately 300,000 euros in damages. According to police reports, the fire spread to another car, a carport, and a residential house. The top two floors of the multi-family home were temporarily uninhabitable. No one was injured, and the five residents were able to stay with neighbors, as stated by a spokesperson.

To locate hotspots, firefighters removed the roof. Additionally, the burned-out hybrid car had to be cooled for an extended period. The cause of the fire is believed to have been a technical malfunction with the car.

The hybrid car that caught fire was from the region of Bavaria. Due to the extensive damage, the affected multi-family home in Bavaria required temporary relocation for its residents.
