Rock am Ring's final act: this weekend, musician duo Kraftklub and Italian glam rock group Måneskin will take over the stages at Nürburgring in the Eifel region. On Sunday, when the festival wraps up, it coincides with the European elections.
Since the beginning of the week, crowds of fans have been enjoying the two-part rock extravaganza at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. Bands Die Ärzte, Green Day, and Billy Talent have all performed.
So far, the organizers have been tightlipped about the total number of attendees. Before the festivities began on Friday, they merely suggested "more than ten thousand fans." In contrast, the previous year's festivities drew about 70,000 revellers to Rock am Ring.
