Crime - Fight with knives - man critically injured
Two men in the community Am Großen Bruch (Landkreis Börde) attacked each other with knives during a fight. One of the men, a 41-year-old, sustained several life-threatening stab wounds during the altercation on Thursday evening and was taken to a hospital, according to the police. His 43-year-old alleged opponent was temporarily arrested at the scene in the Neuwegersleben district. Preliminary investigations suggest that both men knew each other. The motive is likely to be found in their personal sphere, it was stated.
