Crime - Fight with a knife in Constance

A dispute between two groups escalated at Konstanz on Saturday. It started with insults, then a 31-year-old man fell over a cyclist, causing her to fall to the ground, according to the police. The cyclist then attacked the man, pulled out a knife and injured him on the shoulder. The 31-year-old sustained a roughly two centimeter long cut.

According to eyewitness reports, uninvolved bystanders intervened and brought the 31-year-old to the ground to prevent further attacks. After a short time, he calmed down and was released by the witnesses. The man then went after the cyclist again, this time with a belt.

Before the police arrived, the unknown cyclist and her group had left the scene. Only her bicycle was found lying on the road.

The escalation of the dispute in Baden-Württemberg's Constance led to reports of a crime. Despite the intervention of bystanders, the 31-year-old man, fueled by the insults, continued his aggressive behavior, leading to a confrontation with the police.
