Unknown perpetrators allegedly injured a 27-year-old man in Bremen with a shot to the foot. According to the police, the incident occurred on a Saturday evening in the Bremer Neustadt district. The man was in a streetcar of line 1 with two men at the time. On the street, they demanded cigarettes from him and attempted to steal his wallet. A physical altercation ensued with one of the men. The other perpetrator then pulled out a gun and shot the 27-year-old in the foot, requiring surgery. Both perpetrators fled the scene.

Witnesses described the shooter as a 25- to 30-year-old man, approximately 1.85 meters tall, with black, longer hair, and a three-day beard. The other man was estimated to be 25 to 30 years old and about 1.75 meters tall. Both were reported to have argued with the victim in a language other than German.
