Fierce Wasps have been swarming on a woodland trail directing towards the Ivenacker Oak (Mecklenburgische Seenplatte area). At least four individuals have sustained injuries and are under medical care at the Malchin hospital, as reported by the authorities. The woodland path has been shut down temporarily until the upcoming week to safeguard tourists from additional attacks. "The cause behind their aggressive behavior still remains uncertain. It's advisable not to stir them up further," the police stated.

Other species of insects in the area might be affecting the Wasps' behavior, including potential habitat loss or food source disruptions. Visitors should heed advice and maintain a safe distance from the Ivenacker Oak during the trail closure.
