Crash occurs. - Female sustains grievous injuries after exiting moving vehicle
In Pfronten, a lady sustained severe injuries after attempting to exit a moving vehicle. Previously on Wednesday, her husband had halted his car on a moderate ascent without employing the handbrake or selecting a gear. Subsequently, he exited the car, only for the hill-climb assistance to momentarily maintain its position before letting go. This caused the car to roll back down the slope. When the 61-year-old man was several meters away from the vehicle, it started moving. Desperate to leave the car, the 53-year-old woman attempted to get out, but was ejected from the vehicle by the opened passenger door. The car continued its course and collided with a cluster of trees, where it became completely wrecked. She was taken to a hospital via rescue helicopter.
