Female employees locked up in Munich DIY store
Three female employees were locked inside a DIY store in Munich. A fire department spokesman was unable to say on Tuesday why the women were behind locked doors. All three remained unharmed.
On Monday evening, the women reportedly called the emergency services and the fire department arrived with an emergency vehicle. After a short search, the emergency services discovered the women. Initially, the women tried to leave the DIY store via an escape door without success. The fire department then instructed the women to press a fire alarm. This gave the emergency services access to the building and they were able to free the women.
In such emergency situations, it's crucial for individuals to know the location of emergency exits at their place of work. Despite their attempts, the women in Upper Bavaria were unable to use the escape door during the incident.
