Traffic - Female driver dies in an accident on a country road in the Harz Mountains
A 58-year-old woman driver died in an accident on a country road in the Harz. According to police information, she was on the L240 towards Westerhausen from Thale in the afternoon on a Thursday and came off the road for unknown reasons. With her car, she rolled over several times. The vehicle finally came to rest on a field. The woman succumbed to her severe injuries at the scene, the rescue workers reported.
The accident occurred on a country road in Saxony-Anhalt, specifically on the L240 towards Westerhausen. Despite being close to Westerhausen, the incident happened away from the city's bustle. Unfortunately, similar accidents have been known to occur frequently along this rural road.
