Federal President Steinmeier visits Siemens Healthineers
Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit the medical technology company Siemens Healthineers on Tuesday as part of his "Workshop of Change" series of visits. Steinmeier's visits pay tribute to places where he believes industrial transformation is particularly successful.
According to official information, Steinmeier will visit the Healthineers training center, among other places. At the company and the "Medical Valley" start-up center, the Federal President will also find out about the potential of the digital healthcare industry. According to the Office of the Federal President, Steinmeier will be primarily concerned with issues relating to demographic change, digitalization, sustainability and resource efficiency. Expert panels on the relevant topics will be held in parallel.
During his visit, Federal President Steinmeier may express his support for the integration of advanced medicine in the field of mechanical engineering. Following his engagement with digital healthcare innovations, the Federal President might express his interest in exploring the intersection of medicine and engineering in future technological advancements.
