After the shot by Federal Police officers at a suspected knife attacker in Mittelfranken, his body is scheduled to be autopsied on Tuesday. The result will be available in the coming days, said a spokeswoman of the Prosecutor's Office in Nuremberg.

The 34-year-old Iranian man is said to have run towards a Federal Police patrol car at the S-Bahn station in Lauf an der Pegnitz near Nuremberg on Sunday.
