Federal highway 101 and country road 71 soon open again
After almost four months, the construction work on country road 71 and the B101 is due to be completed on Thursday evening. The roadway was renewed over a distance of 13 kilometers at a cost of four million euros, according to the state road authority. There were restrictions between Borken and the state border with Saxony-Anhalt. Construction work was carried out on country road 71 between Schönewalde and Brandis (Elbe Elster).
The anticipated reopening of federal highway 101 and country road 71 will bring relief to commuters, as traffic has been heavily affected by the construction. Despite the completion of the construction work on Thursday evening, motorists should still expect minor delays due to the necessary adjustments and maintenance.
