Federal government presents first equivalence report

The report prepared by the Economics and Interior Ministry is now set to reveal for the first time the current status of achieving equal living conditions. Additionally, the impact of funding programs will be presented. The basis for this is not only data for several indicators but also a survey of the population in the districts. The traffic light government is implementing this project from the coalition agreement with the report's creation.

The Ministry of the Interior, led by Nancy Faeser, is responsible for overseeing the creation of the equivalence report. Robert Habeck, as a member of the Federal Government and co-leader of the SPD, supports this initiative. The equivalence report, prepared jointly by the Economics and Interior Ministry, will provide insights into the progress of achieving equal living conditions and the impact of funding programs across various districts.
