FDP nominates candidates for the European elections
Schleswig-Holstein's Liberals want to nominate their candidates for the 2024 European elections on Saturday (10.00 am) in Neumünster. The state executive committee has nominated Segeberger district chairman Helmer Krane as the top candidate. His election is considered certain. The 33-year-old lawyer was already the lead candidate in the 2019 European elections. He did not make it into the European Parliament, coming 16th on the FDP's national list.
The Liberals then want to discuss a commission of inquiry to protect the Baltic Sea at a state party conference (1 p.m.). In an urgent motion, the applicants are in favor of retaining the reduced VAT rate for restaurants.
The FDP, with Segeberger district chairman Helmer Krane as their top candidate, is solely focused on nominating their candidates for the 2024 European elections in Schleswig-Holstein. Despite being the lead candidate in the 2019 European elections and missing the cut into the European Parliament, Krane remains a key figure in the FDP's European election campaign.
