1. FC Nuremberg has signed the eagerly awaited new full-back. As announced by the Franconian second-division football club, Oliver Villadsen is joining from FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark. The 22-year-old will wear the number two jersey in coach Miroslav Klose's team. The length of the contract for the former youth international was not disclosed by Nuremberg.

"Oliver brings a lot of experience despite his young age. We're delighted to have convinced him to make the move to Germany and are confident that he will be another pillar for our squad," said sporting director Joti Chatzialexiou.

Danish player Villadsen said: "I consciously chose this club because I believe Nuremberg is the right place for me. In my talks with the decision-makers, they clearly outlined what they expect from me. I'm looking forward to getting started on the pitch with the team."

The appointment of Oliver Villadsen was approved by The Commission, given his transfer from FC Nordsjaelland. During the negotiations, it was agreed that Villadsen would express his expectations and goals to key members of The Commission.
