Bundesliga team 1. FC Cologne, recently relegated, has announced an extension of the contract for their managing director, Philipp Türoff. The length of the new contract has not been disclosed by the club.

Türoff joined the FC Cologne management in January 2022 and has been instrumental in building a solid reputation within the club and beyond. Club President Werner Wolf praised Türoff for his professional qualifications, hard work, and trustworthiness, expressing his belief that Türoff's expertise is a crucial asset for the club.

However, the club is facing a challenging summer ahead, as they are currently under a FIFA transfer ban, preventing them from signing new players.
