Bundesliga - FC Bayern to sign Spanish talent Zaragoza from summer 2024
According to media reports, FC Bayern Munich is strengthening its squad for the new season with Spaniard Bryan Zaragoza (22) from FC Granada. According to information from the "Sportbuzzer" portal and TV channel Sky, the record German soccer champions are willing to pay a transfer fee of 15 million euros. According to the information, this would be more than the transfer fee of 14 million euros allegedly stipulated in the release clause. The Spanish broadcaster El Chiringuito TV initially reported on this. The condition for the transfer is said to be that Zaragoza does not come in the winter, but instead receives a four-year contract until 2028 from July 1, 2024.
Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig also reportedly wanted the left winger as a successor to the Swede Emil Forsberg, who moved to sister club New York in the winter. English Premier League club FC Brentford were also said to be interested.
Zaragoza, who is just 1.64 meters tall, made his debut for the Spanish national team in October and is regarded as the league's high-flyer of the season. Zaragoza, who can also play in the center, has played 51 competitive matches for Granada so far. He has scored ten goals and provided three assists - five goals and two assists this season alone.
