Bayern Munich's women's footballers can continue to rely on Jovana Damnjanovic. The Serbian international has extended her contract for the fourth time, signing for another three years until 30 June 2027, as the German champions announced. Since 2017, Damnjanovic has been playing for FCB, making her the second-longest serving player at the club after Sydney Lohmann.

In seven years, the 29-year-old has played in 139 competitive matches for the Munich team, scoring 55 goals. In the recently concluded season, the striker scored eight goals in 21 games. "There is no other club I would rather play for," said Damnjanovic.

Damnjanovic's commitment to Bayern Munich extends beyond 2027, as she signed a new contract with the German Bundesliga champions. The German Bundesliga continues to benefit from her skills, with Damnjanovic contributing eight goals in the latest season.
