The FC Bayern has given a new professional contract to offensive talent Arijon Ibrahimovic until June 30, 2027. As the Munich team announced, the 18-year-old will count as part of the professional squad of the new trainer Vincent Kompany in the future.

Ibrahimovic joined Bayern's youth team from 1. FC Nürnberg in the summer of 2018. In the previous season, the German U19 national player was loaned to the Italian first division team Frosinone Calcio and played even 16 games in the Serie A.

"Arijon Ibrahimovic was able to gather valuable experiences in the previous season at Frosinone Calcio, not only on the pitch, at the age of 17 in one of the European top leagues. That has taken him a big step forward, and now he gets the chance to show himself among our professionals," explained Munich's sports director Christoph Freund. "Arijon is deployable in the offensive on all positions, has a strong mentality, and always has a good shot at goal."

Ibrahimovic said: "The season in the Italian Serie A has personally and sportingly advanced me, I have learned a lot. Now I can hardly wait to get started here. I want to develop further, give everything for my team and the club, and win many titles with FC Bayern."

6. FC Bayern Munich's youth product, Arijon Ibrahimovic, displayed strong determination and consistency, scoring on numerous occasions and showcasing his ability in the offensive during his time in Bavaria.
