Soccer - FC Augsburg fears for sick right-back Gumny
FC Augsburg will have to find an alternative to right-back Robert Gumny for the Bundesliga home game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday (19:30/DAZN). The 25-year-old Pole is ill, as is French attacking player Irvin Cardona. "Of course I hope he'll be back tomorrow," said coach Jess Thorup on Friday about regular right-back Gumny with a view to the final training session. The first alternative for Gumny is the Swiss Kevin Mbabu. Augsburg are still unbeaten in five Bundesliga games under Thorup, although they have only drawn 1-1 three times recently. Eintracht have not lost any of their last seven Bundesliga games against FCA.
