German League - FC Augsburg acquires Croatian goalkeeper Labrović for the European Championship.
FC Augsburg has acquired Croatian goalkeeper Nediljko Labrovic on a contract that lasts until June 30, 2029, according to a club announcement on Tuesday. The 24-year-old joins the club after being in the Croatian vice-champions team of HNK Rijeka, with no details on transfer fees provided. Labrovic, who participated in the Croatian team at the European Championship, traveled to Augsburg from Neuruppin, Brandenburg for the contract signing and health check. "It's ideal that the transfer is completed prior to the start of the European Championship," he said, explaining that this allows him to concentrate on the national team initially and then fully give his attention to the club after that. Finn Dahmen was the regular goalkeeper for Augsburg last season and made 31 Bundesliga appearances.
