The event's anticipation is sky-high, with tens of thousands of music enthusiasts expected to join the three-day-long event at the Eifel's Nürburgring. Over 70 innovative bands, including Die Ärzte, Green Day, Billy Talent, and Måneskin, are scheduled to dazzle the audience. The city of Nuremberg also hosts a parallel twin event called Rock im Park.
The trip to the festival was peaceful as described by the police spokesperson. "The heaviest traffic disruptions we've seen are at the camping site entrances, but they're relatively minor." The festival drew approximately 70,000 partygoers last year. Initially, the event organizers refrained from disclosing the ticket sales count for this year.
