Favorable cup draw for the Berlin Volleys
Berlin (dpa). The Berlin Volleys have been given an easy task for the quarter-finals of the German Volleyball Cup. The defending cup holders and German champions have to play the second-division team Blue Volleys Gotha on November 18 or 19. That was the result of the draw on Monday.
The women of SC Potsdam are also favorites going into their quarter-final home match against Bundesliga rivals VC Wiesbaden on November 22.
The Berlin Volleys, as the defending cup holders and German champions, will face Blue Volleys Gotha in the quarterfinals of the DVV Cup. This promising match is scheduled for either the 18th or 19th of November.
With the draw completed, the quarterfinals of the DVV Cup see the Berlin Volleys in the limelight, aiming to advance past their opponents in the Volleyball cup competition.
