Money Moves - Father outlines further achievements for gifted son Ouedraogo.

The future of Schalke's rising star Assan Ouedraogo is up in the air, with reports linking him to a move to FC Bayern Munich. However, his father, Alassane, has clarified that the family is not in a rush to make any decisions.

"Assan just turned 18 years old. We're grateful and proud of the attention our young player is receiving. But we have a contract with Schalke 04, and we're not going to act impulsively," father Ouedraogo told Sky.

The next move for Ouedraogo is crucial for both his personal growth and his football career. "The financial aspect isn't the main concern for us. What matters the most is having the support of the head coach and the club's management. We've been working closely with Schalke 04 to find the best possible arrangement for the team and our son," he added.

The senior Ouedraogo also dismissed rumors of a commitment between his son and Bayern, even though the Bavarian giants had a pre-signed contract with the player for months. "The thought and future vision for Assan were more significant to us than the financial offers from Bayern. We're well aware of the current state of affairs at Bayern and have been keeping tabs on their situation. They've recently informed us that they can't afford to make a transfer for Assan this summer due to various reasons," explained Alassane.

Bayern remain interested in Ouedraogo, with speculation they may save their financial package for the summer transfer window. The talented midfielder appears more drawn to switching to the Bundesliga. RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are among the clubs reportedly interested in the youngster.

No official offers have been accepted by the family yet. "We've received several written offers, not just from Bayern. Clubs from the Premier League have also been keen on signing Assan. We'll make a well-informed decision soon," said the player's father.

Ouedraogo's contract with Schalke 04 runs until June 30, 2027, with his release clause being activated in mid-June, as per the report. Last season, the promising player missed most of the U17 World Cup in Indonesia, where Germany emerged as world champions, due to injury.
