Bayreuth County - Fatality and multiple injuries result from a severe frontal crash.
A woman lost her life and seven others were hurt in a multiple-car crash in Landkreis Bayreuth. The incident unfolded when a 60-year-old woman veered off the road with her vehicle onto the B22 and smashed into an incoming vehicle, as stated in the evening editions of the police report. Her car later crashed into a police car. The woman sustained horrific injuries, resulting in her passing away at the accident site immediately. Those injured were taken to the hospital, where they received treatment; none of them were reported to have severe injuries.
