As per police accounts, a 20-year-old driver veered off the road late on a Sunday evening in the Böfingen district, losing control during a long, curving right turn. His car collided head-on with the vehicle of a 54-year-old man, who tragically perished at the accident site. The 54-year-old's 22-year-old companion was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries, and so was the 20-year-old. Fortunately, her 15-year-old passenger escaped unscathed.
