Between Würzburg and Nürnberg, trains came to a standstill for about 45 minutes on Thursdays at midday. The train suspected a blind bomber in the track area for a short time. However, this suspicion could not be confirmed, a train spokesperson said. The alleged explosives were reportedly on the track near Dettelbach (Landkreis Kitzingen). Local and long-distance traffic were affected.

  1. Despite the railroad track near Dettelbach in Bavaria being temporarily closed due to a suspected bomb, traffic resumed normally after the suspect was found to be baseless.
  2. On Thursdays at midday, traffic along the railroad between Würzburg and Nuremberg was delayed due to a traffic disruption caused by a potential threat on the railroad track.
  3. The train delay affected not only local but also long-distance traffic, leading to inconvenience for commuters and travelers in the region.
  4. After the incident in Nuremberg, it was recommended that people consider alternative modes of transportation, such as using vehicles on nearby roads, as a precautionary measure.
