Traffic - False railroad employee exposed in train driver's cab
On a train from Würzburg to Ansbach, a 19-year-old pretending to be a Deutsche Bahn employee tricked his way into the driver's cab. The man wore a dark blue vest with a service sign and pretended to be a Deutsche Bahn (DB) trainee in the restaurant area, the federal police said in Nuremberg on Monday. The train driver had allowed him to travel with him, but during the journey he had doubts about the man's credibility. During a police check, the 19-year-old was able to produce a ticket, but no identity card. In addition, his name was not known to the railroad company. The 19-year-old then threatened and insulted the officers. Following the incident on Friday evening, an investigation is underway into trespassing, insulting and threatening. The vest with the Bahn logo was confiscated.
