Telephone fraud - Fake savings bank employees cheat on the phone

Alleged Sparkasse employees in the Dresden region have obtained thousands of Euros through fraudulent calls. According to the police announcement on Sunday, the unknown callers contacted a woman in Radebeul and a man in Kreischa, demanding the release of transactions via a Banking-App. The 37-year-old woman and the 54-year-old man complied. Later, the victims discovered that around 5000 Euros had been debited from their accounts, as well as approximately 4700 Euros.

The Telephone fraud in Dresden involved demanding the release of transactions via a Banking-App, leading to significant losses for a woman in Radebeul and a man in Kreischa. The police in Saxony are investigating this Crime, as scams like this have become more prevalent recently. The victims lost a combined total of approximately 9700 Euros, highlighting the need for increased vigilance against such scams.
