The new week begins in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland with clear to cloudy skies in many places after local fog has cleared. In the Eifel, it will also be very cloudy during the day, according to the German Weather Service in Offenbach on Monday. Depending on the amount of sunshine, maximum temperatures will reach up to nine degrees, even at high altitudes. A weak to moderate wind will blow from the southwest, with strong gusts possible in the mountains. On Tuesday night, it will be cloudy to overcast, some rain may fall in the north, in the Palatinate there will be no precipitation, but fog will return in places. With lows of plus three to minus one degree, it may be icy on the roads locally.

On Tuesday, the Palatinate will see some clearing at first, while other regions will see cloudy to overcast conditions. From midday it will rain widely, only in the Vorderpfalz it is likely to remain dry until the evening with temperatures of up to five degrees, along the Rhine up to seven degrees.
