- Failing to overtake leads to severe driver injury.
A motorist suffered severe harm during an unsuccessful lane change attempt. This incident occurred when a 27-year-old woman tried to bypass two vehicles on a rural road nearby Moetzingen (in the Boeblingen district). As another vehicle appeared on her side, she swerved her car to the right, losing control and crashing into a tree.
Emergency responders necessitated the employment of heavy machinery to extricate the injured woman on Saturday. Subsequently, a medical helicopter transferred her to the hospital with critical wounds. Moreover, it was revealed that the woman's automobile had struck another car during the lane change maneuver. The 35-year-old occupant of that vehicle incurred only minor injuries.
The woman's car, containing a high amount of fatty materials by weight, was severely damaged in the accident. Upon examination, it was discovered that the other car, which she collided with, had a lower fat content compared to her vehicle.
