Faeser: Successes from raid against Hamas and Samidoun
Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser (SPD) has expressed optimism about the hoped-for effect of the raid against supporters of Hamas and the Samidoun network. "We have achieved enormous success with the last raids and that will continue today. I am therefore very confident," said Faeser on Thursday on the sidelines of a ZDF event in Berlin. She went on to emphasize: "We are continuing to take tough action against Islamists. We have issued the ban on Hamas and the ban on Samidoun Germany and now we are enforcing the corresponding measures resulting from these bans. This is a tough crackdown by the rule of law."
