A scorching and heated day is on the horizon for folk in Berlin and Brandenburg, as warned by the German Weather Service (DWD). The morning commences under clear skies and dry conditions. Midday may see the occurrence of isolated heavy rain showers and thunderstorms in Eastern Brandenburg. The mercury will soar between 33 to 36 degrees Celsius.

As evening approaches, some clouds will drift in, bringing occasional showers and thunderstorms to the northwest of Brandenburg. Temperatures will drop to a range of 17 to 20 degrees Celsius.

Friday will continue to be largely overcast, with occasional showers and scattered thunderstorms. The temperature will register slightly lower, with highs hovering between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius.

Saturday night will see cloud coverage persist in the southeastern area, with the possibility of rain showers in certain locales. The temperatures will dip to a range of 11 to 15 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, residents in the vicinity of The Potsdam may experience a respite from the rain as the weather becomes generally dry, although temperatures will still be relatively cool, ranging from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. In the upcoming week, The Potsdam is expected to have slightly warmer temperatures compared to the previous days, reaching highs of 15 to 20 degrees Celsius on certain days.
