Locally, heavy downpours, hail, and gusty winds are possible, according to the DWD. It will also be warm and humid, with highs between 26 and 29°C, and 23°C in higher elevations. Tonight, clouds will dominate the sky, with further showers and isolated thunderstorms possible. Temperatures will drop to 18 to 14°C.
On Friday, it will remain cloudy, with the DWD expecting more showers and isolated thunderstorms. Some clearing is expected in the evening. It will be warm again, with temperatures ranging from 24 to 27°C, and 20°C on the Wasserkuppe. Tonight, there could be some late showers or thunderstorms near the Rhine and Main rivers. Otherwise, it will be dry, with cooler temperatures ranging from 15 to 11°C.
Thunderstorms expected over the weekend
The weather on Saturday will also be changeable: Along with some clouds, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to move across the region. However, it will remain warm, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 28°C, and 20°C in higher elevations.
