The Federal Police foiled the theft of 850 kilograms of cables from a railway site in Magdeburg. An eyewitness, according to police reports, observed cable thieves on a railway site. The alerted officers from state and federal police were able to arrest two men and one woman who had loaded the unusually large amount of cable into a van.

The Federal Police have now revealed that the incident occurred last Saturday. The 35-year-old woman had already been convicted by the Halle District Court in March last year for theft and sentenced to a fine. The three suspects now face an investigation for theft and criminal trespass.

The Halle District Court previously convicted the 35-year-old woman for theft, underscoring her history of criminal activity. The recent arrest of the trio for theft and criminal trespass highlights their involvement in ongoing criminal activities.
