Hamburg Port Facilities - Explosives experts on duty - Disarming a bomb discovered.

In the Hamburg harbor, authorities discovered a suspected 250-pound bomb submerged in the water on a Wednesday morning. A representative from the local fire department made this revelation in the media. The initial report of the discovery in Kuhwerder Harbor reached authorities at 9:35 am. A diver was immediately deployed to assess the situation.

By 4:00 pm, the ordnance disposal team was expected to arrive on-site to defuse the bomb. To ensure safety, a 250-meter radius will be established around the bomb, with a warning area of 1000 meters. Nearby factories will be closed, and so will the Old Elbtunnel.
