In a fire involving caravans, motorhomes, and a boat trailer at a parking lot in Korntal-Münchingen (Ludwigsburg district), an estimated €250,000 worth of damage was caused. According to initial findings, gas cylinders on board exploded, a police spokesperson said.

The explosions could be heard from a distance and a large plume of smoke was visible. The cause of the fire was initially unknown. The four motorhomes were mostly completely burned out. The roof of a garden hut on an adjacent property was also damaged.

The explosions from the gas cylinders ignited a large fire, engulfing the caravans, motorhomes, and the boat trailer. The intense heat and flames caused significant damage to nearby structures, including a garden hut with a burned-out roof.
