- Explosion at pyrotechnic factory - Firefighters on duty
Following an explosion in a production hall for pyrotechnics in Marienmünster, in eastern Westphalia, the fire department successfully extinguished the fire. According to a police statement from the Höxter district, arson investigators from the criminal police have begun their work to determine the cause.
No injuries were reported in the incident. None of the employees were present in the hall at the time of the blast, around 10:00 AM in the morning, as stated.
